As 2022 comes to a close, we would like to reflect on the year. It was everything but uneventful. The year was packed with milestone anniversaries and new staff hires, the release of new products, MOGO’s 10 year anniversary of running strong, and trips to each corner of the U.S.
What a great year for MOGO. It’s funny to think that 10 years ago, we started with an idea and it grew into a solid solution for your mobile needs. This solution comes in the form of propane, fuel, and cylinder trucks, service technicians, and even reading meters.
Our involvement outside of RCC should not go unnoticed. We are a proud sponsor of the Women in Propane (WIP). Also within that organization, Jess is the co-chair of the Events and Planning Committee. Freddie co-hosts Through the Leadership Lens, a podcast by WIP Council. Holly joined the PAC Steering Committee. And RCC’s podcast, Fuel The Conversation, added a new series, RCC Insider, to the mix. That podcast is hosted by Kyle, Freddie, Abby, and Jess. We are also sponsors of the NPGA Benchmarking Council and continue to have a presence at those meetings to learn about hot topics and focus points of the industry. Kyle, Freddie, Jason, and Sue traveled to a few of these meetings and will continue that venture. Joining our trip to Nashville (Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo), Kassi Einerson and Jerod Herzog participated as 2 of the 30 under 30 nominees! This program engages and encourages young professionals working for companies directly involved in the propane industry. We were excited they were recognized during the year!
RCC’s vision for 2022 was to reach out to our customers. To do this, we continue to publish our RCC Newsletter, which goes out quarterly. We also added to the mix, a monthly webinar that is free to our customers discussing the important areas of the company’s business in that timeframe of the year. We call that the Building Your Business webinar. Our social presence was also a target area in 2022, bringing information to our customers using Facebook, the website blog, e-newsletters, and mailings. We also brought in Dr. Cindra Kamphoff, a certified mental performance coach and consultant, for an on-site and virtual visit. She came to talk about grit and what it takes to push forward in your job. She helped bring out our potential and create our purpose statement at RCC.
We hosted our 24th Annual RCC Customer Seminar in Disney Springs Florida in June of 2022. We treat our seminars like the NFL treats the Superbowl. It’s a week-long event that we start planning a year in advance. Nancy, Tom, and Freddie have already started planning for 2023’s 25th Annual Seminar. You don’t want to miss this one! We have guest speakers, fun events, and a new layout on our agenda! And did we mention it’s in our home state, Minnesota. (More on that in a future blog post!)
It’s hard to believe we also had time to release new products! RCC proudly introduced Service Manager (SM) and Notifications. SM is the ability to schedule and manage service work orders with calendars and queries. Notifications compliment Dispatch Manager, queries, and other hooks that allow your company to send out texts or emails to your customers. We continued to build on Dispatch Manager, MOGO, and Web Services which includes our App, and all of RCC V10.
All of this was organized by our Leadership Team, a team that brings all the department heads to the table and meets twice a month to discuss high-level topics. We are all excited for 2023 and if it’s anything like 2022, we should be in for a fun ride.
