Let’s just say, the 2026 National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) Southeastern &International Propane Expo in Nashville delivered. It was busy, exciting, and full of the kind of moments that remind us why we love this industry. It was a powerful reminder of what makes this industry so special: the people, the stories, and the shared drive to keep moving forward.
For our team at Rural Computer Consultants, Inc. (RCC), it was more than just a great show. Going into our 41st year exhibiting, it was a chance to connect, share ideas, and be part of something bigger. The kind of week that leaves you energized and already looking forward to next year. From the moment the doors opened, the energy was undeniable. Our booth quickly became a hub of conversation, connection, and collaboration. Customers, partners, and new faces stopped by to catch up, explore what’s new, and, of course, grab some Making Propane Sexy swag. It’s the handshakes, the laughs, and the real conversations that reinforce why we do what we do.
Showing Up as RCC
We had an incredible team on the ground, and it showed in every interaction. Whether it was a quick hello or a deep dive into FDS and MOGO, every interaction reflected what we stand for: reliable solutions, meaningful partnerships, and a deep understanding of and commitment to the industry we serve. For Fuel People, By Fuel People.

Elevating Inustry Voices

Live Podcast
One of the standout moments of the expo was the Women in Propane Council’s “Through the Leadership Lens” LIVE podcast which is now in its third year. Hosted by Freddie (Head of Business Growth) and Jes (Co-owner and Head of Support), this session brought together a panel of inspiring leaders who shared real-world insights on leadership in today’s industry.
The live audience engagement and thoughtful discussion made it clear: the future of propane is being shaped by strong, passionate voices willing to share their experiences and lead with purpose.
From “Boring to Buzzworthy”
Freddie also took the stage as part of the “From Boring to Buzzworthy” panel, where he shared how storytelling is transforming how we connect within the propane industry. His message echoed throughout the event: what some might call “boring” is actually filled with rich, meaningful stories worth telling.
As Freddie reflected after the show, it’s those stories and the people behind them that truly define the propane community. The #makingpropanesexy movement is rooted in exactly that: celebrating the pride, purpose, and personality of this industry.

Celebrating a Hall of Fame Milestone
A truly special highlight of the expo was the induction of Brian Sheehan, founder of RCC, into the LP Gas Hall of Fame Class of 2026. This honor recognizes a lifetime of dedication and impact within the fuel and propane industry.
While Brian was serving abroad with Lions International in Peru, his sister, Susie Sheehan-Peterson, proudly accepted the award on his behalf. We were honored to have many RCC team members there to celebrate this incredible achievement (there wasn’t a dry eye at our table!).

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Brian and all of this year’s inductees! Your contributions have shaped this industry in lasting ways.
MOGO PRoduct Drop
Innovation was also front and center at our booth this year. We were excited to unveil new capabilities, including:
- MOGO Companion
- Images on MOGO

These updates continue to enhance mobility and efficiency for fuel and propane businesses, giving teams in the field the tools they need to work smarter and stay connected in real time.
The response was fantastic, and we appreciate everyone who joined us for the product drop and took the time to learn more. For more information, contact [email protected].
REcognizing the Next Generation
Freddie also had the honor of presenting the Young Gasser Trophy, celebrating emerging leaders who are helping shape the
future of the propane industry. Moments like these reinforce the importance of mentorship, growth, and investing in what comes next.
Thank you for a great Expo!
To everyone who visited our booth, joined a session, or just stopped by to say hello, thank you! You made this expo what it was.
We’re already looking ahead to 2027.
At RCC, we build software, but more importantly, we build relationships. This week was a great reminder of why that still matters.
