Another Summer Camp Has Come and Gone

July 6, 2026 by RCC

Another RCC Summer Camp has come to a close, and after four incredible days in Bloomington, Minnesota, we’re packing up our gear, rolling up our sleeping bags, and heading home inspired by the conversations, connections, and collaboration that made this year’s event one to remember.

Now in its 28th year, Summer Camp continues to be more than a customer seminar. It’s where the fuel and propane professionals in the RCC family come together to learn from one another, explore new ideas, and strengthen the partnerships that keep our businesses moving forward. Summer Camp is “where learning meets community,” and that’s exactly what this week delivered.

where learning meets community

From the moment we kicked off with Camp Roll Call, attendees jumped into hands-on training, software workshops, customer panels, and roundtable discussions covering everything from MOGO®, Hub v10, forecasting, AI, accounting, reporting, web services, and operational best practices. We design each session with one goal in mind: helping our customers get the most out of their RCC solutions while giving them the opportunity to share ideas with peers facing many of the same challenges. In each session, there is always a question or two that gets asked, and before an RCC team member can answer, another attendee jumps in with the answer and perhaps some info on their best practice for it. One camper shared about the group text her and a few other campers have shared over the past few years:

“We are able to collaborate with people in the same capacity. We may not be owners, but we might be second or third generation and even if we are chatting with people that are in different capacities, they still have great ideas!”

  • Ellie, Reliable Propane

Throughout the week, customers shared ideas, asked thoughtful questions, exchanged best practices, and offered valuable feedback that will help shape the future of RCC software.

One of the highlights of the week was welcoming Jacob Peterson, Senior Director of State Advocacy and Affairs for the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA), who spoke about the value of industry engagement and advocacy. His keynote reminded us that the strength of our industry comes from working together and investing in its future.

Collaboration Beyond the Classroom

Learning didn’t stop when the sessions ended.

Our Vendor Fair and Happy Hour gave attendees time to connect with trusted partners, discover new products and services, and continue conversations that began during the day’s presentations. Whether it was chatting between sessions, catching up over lunch, or sharing ideas in the hallway, those in-between moments are where some of the best connections are made.

“My favorite part of Summer Camp is associating with all of the other companies and people at RCC and learning all of the new things!”

  • Dustin, Owens Energy

Those conversations are one of the reasons Summer Camp has remained a favorite tradition for nearly three decades…and why so many campers return year after year.

Celebrating Our Customers

Of course, no Summer Camp would be complete without taking time to celebrate the people who make it all possible: our customers.

Wednesday evening’s Customer Appreciation event brought everyone together for an unforgettable night filled with great food, karaoke, go-kart racing, games, music from DJ TonySpark, and plenty of laughter. It was a chance to step away from the classroom, strengthen friendships, and create the kind of memories that make Summer Camp more than just another conference.

Thank You

To our customers, thank you for your enthusiasm, your questions, your feedback, and your continued partnership.

Your willingness to share your experiences helps us continue building software that truly serves the fuel and propane industry.

Thank you as well to our sponsors, vendor partners, presenters, and the entire RCC team whose hard work made this week possible. We couldn’t do it without you.

As we wrap up another successful Summer Camp, we’re already looking ahead to next year. We can’t wait to continue the tradition when we gather in sunny San Diego for Summer Camp 2027.

Until then, thank you for another unforgettable week.
