Every year, customers from across the country come together for RCC Summer Camp to expand their knowledge of RCC’s software, share ideas, and explore new ways to strengthen their businesses. The educational sessions, industry discussions, and networking opportunities are what bring us together, but it’s the relationships that have been built over the years that make Summer Camp truly special.
Recently, one of our attendees, Haley Pitcock of Farmers Energy Propane Plus, shared something that perfectly captures that spirit: an original song inspired by RCC Summer Camp.
Anyone who knows Haley knows she’s always ready with a joke or a good prank, and her personality shines through in the lyrics. While the song highlights the laughs, friendly competition, and memorable moments that happen throughout the week, it also reflects something much deeper. It celebrates the genuine friendships that have grown within the RCC community over the years.
At RCC, we’ve always believed that our customers are more than users of our software. They’re partners. Summer Camp is designed to give customers practical education, hands-on training, and opportunities to collaborate with industry peers. This collaboration is mentioned in nearly every testimonial we’ve ever received from campers. Getting to connect with like-minded people in the propane and fuel industry is so valuable and not something our campers get to do everyday. Every learning session, roundtable, and conversation we build is centered around helping fuel and propane businesses become more efficient, more informed, and better prepared for the future.
The fact that someone took the time to write a song about that experience is incredibly meaningful to us.
It’s a reminder that while technology brings us together, it’s the people who make RCC what it is. The trust, collaboration, and friendships that have grown through events like Summer Camp are something we’re proud of, and they’re a big part of what makes the RCC family so unique.
