and yes, we are cheering loudly 🐧
Today is a really great day! If you have ever heard Brian say “Make a Great Day,” you already know why this news lands perfectly. LPGas Magazine has announced that Brian Sheehan, founder and retiring president of Rural Computer Consultants (RCC), will be inducted into the LPGas Hall of Fame Class of 2026 and yes, we are incredibly proud.
Brian has spent nearly five decades doing what he does best: bringing energy, humor, and real-world problem solving to the propane industry. From the early days of building practical tools for a rural propane operation (on a makeshift desk, we might add) to helping shape technology that supports propane retailers across the country today, Brian has always been focused on making life easier for the people doing the work.
Around RCC, we know him as “The Big Cheese.” He’s the guy whose laugh you can hear down the hall and the leader who somehow makes hard work feel lighter. Brian built RCC with a people-first spirit that still defines who we are today. You see it showing up in every conversation, every customer relationship, and every “how can we make this better?” moment.
A Well-Deserved Honor
Brian will be honored on April 18, 2026, in Nashville during the induction dinner and ceremony ahead of the NPGA Southeastern and International Propane Expo. He is being inducted alongside an outstanding group of industry leaders, so congratulations to all of the Hall of Fame Class of 2026 honorees.
One of the things Brian has always believed, and lived, is that getting involved matters. Serving the propane industry and giving back through service organizations were never “extra.” To Brian, they are essential. They build relationships, strengthen communities, and make a big industry feel a little smaller as we help one another succeed. It is a reminder that leadership isn’t just about innovation. We all have the power to show up with intention, to lead with kindness, and to do good in the place we are standing. Brian and the other honorees show us what it looks like to lead with intention.
We can’t wait to see you at the Expo and to celebrate together with Brian and the RCC team in Nashville. Until then, and always, make a great day!
