The Mutual Insurance Processing System (MIPS) differs from other mutual software products because it is designed with the policy as the ‘hub’ of the system. The Claims, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Payroll functions are integrated with this central hub much as the spokes on a wheel, allowing all information to be accessible from MIPS system. Many other processing systems are designed with the accounting being the central hub.
